The Youth and Young Adult Tobacco & Vaping Survey consists of questions about peer and family smoking of e-cigarettes/vapes, cigarettes, and other tobacco products.

This measure assesses the adolescent’s assessment of the use of cigarettes by parents,siblings, and partners. This measure focuses on exposure of the adolescent and young adult to smoking in their immediate familial and social networks.

Purpose

This specific index was developed to assess the smoking status of immediate family members and best friends.
